Are you ready for a Tall Ship Sailing Adventure from Hobart?
These four day / three night trips provide an ideal taste of Tall Ship life cruising the D’Entrecasteau Channel and Souther Tasmania Tasmania
Where will we go? That really depends on the weather but options could include sailing around Bruny Island, Frederick Henry bay and Norfolk Bay. Towards evening we will find a scenic bay and anchor for a relaxing evening of sunsets, food, refreshments and friendship.
- Four days / three night sailing trip
- Square Rigged Tall ship sailing adventure on a 52 foot 'Brig' (tall ship rigged with square sails on 2 masts)
- Easy sailing with the comfort of passengers at the top of the list
- Help sail the ship, climb the rigging or just relax and enjoy the spectacular Tasmanian coastline, scenery and wildlife.
- Comfortable bunk beds (the ship sleeps 18 crew and passengers)
- Fully equipped galley and saloon
- Hot meals provided by the ship's cook (BYO favourite tipple to enjoy in the evening)
- On-board toilets and hot showers
These trips have been very popular and most have booked out very quickly - we are looking at doing some more of these trips. Payment Information
Trips will only go ahead if there are 5 or more confirmed bookings.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. Remainder paid on invoice
The deposit is fully refundable if the trip does not go ahead for any reason.

Itinerary Details
Departure: 09:00 am on Sunday 31st January 2027
Return: around 16:00 pm on Wednesday 3rd February 2027
All sailings will depart and return to Hobart, North side of Elizabeth St Pier (towards Mures) out the front of the Kingfisher Cafe and Bar
Don't forget your camera!
It is usually colder out on the water so we recommend passengers bring a warm jacket.
If the weather forecast includes the posibility of rain, please bring a suitable rain jacket.
Feel free to bring personal food or drinks onboard.

- All meals including morning and afternoon tea
Pick Up & Drop Off
Passengers are responsible for arranging travel to the Hobart Elizabeth St for departure and pick up on return.

Our sailings are weather dependent - if we need to cancel for any reason you will be given a 100% refund.
We understand travel plans may need to change, if you need to cancel, please contact enquiries@ladynelson.org.au or ring 6234 3348 with as much advance notice as possible so we have an opportunity to re-sell your berth.
Our cancellation policy is:
- Cancellation within 30 days of the departure time - 50% refund *
- Cancellation within 21 days of the departure time - No refund *
- Cancellations before 30 days of the departure time - 100% refund less $15 administration fee
* If we are able to re-sell a cancelled berth we will refund and only charge the $15 cancellation handling fee.
We recommend all guests take out travel insurance to cover unforseen changes to travel plans.
