AWBF Admiral's Sail Monday 8th February 2027
Sail out en masse with other Tall Ships for a special 2-3 hour sailing event at the conclusion of the Festival to farewll the ships with a planned 'salute to the Govenor'
The Admiral’s Sail is your chance to experience the excitement of sailing aboard a traditional tall ship as she takes to the waters of the Derwent. Feel the wind fill the sails, hear the creak of the rigging and watch Hobart’s waterfront come alive from the water.

Come aboard, relax and enjoy Tall Ship sailing in one of the world's most picturesque harbours.
- Historic replica of the original Lady Nelson brig that the first settlers to Hobart arrived in.
- Haul on a line, steer the ship or just relax and enjoy the experience of Tall Ship sailing.
- Explore the under deck cabins, galley and facilities.
- Meet the captain and chat with the volunteer crew.
- Learn about the thrilling history of the original Lady Nelson and the current replica.
- Get a unique harbour view of the beautiful city of Hobart

Our sailings are weather dependent - if we need to cancel you will be given a 100% refund.

Our cancellation policy for single day sails is:
- No show or cancellation after the departure time: no refund.
- Cancellation within 48 hours of the departure time: 50% refund *
- Cancellation before 48 hours of the departure time: 100% refund less a $5 administration fee *
* Alternatively, we can provide a gift voucher for use at another time for the full cost value
